COMPETITOR REGISTRATION: Duct Tape Barefoot Laps Challenge Division
THIS REGISTRATION IS FOR BAREFOOTERS INTERESTED IN COMPETING IN THE “DUCT TAPE” DIVISION, at the 2024 Great Groveland Barefoot Laps Challenge, taking place Saturday, March 23 in Lake David Park in Groveland, FL.
This all ages division allows for competitors to use tape of any kind on their bare feet for their run. The small catch — instead of reducing speed after the second lap, the boat will reduce speed by 2 mph after EACH lap. Visit the Great Groveland Barefoot Laps Challenge page for this division’s rules.

Competitors are allowed to register for both a Standard Age division and the Duct Tape division; this means you will have at least two runs during the contest. Those competing in multiple divisions can only wear duct tape for their Duct Tape division run and must also register for their Standard Age division.

Competing ONLY IN DUCT TAPE Division:
Add one (1) competitor to your cart at a time — select “Duct Tape ONLY - All Ages” if this is the only division you will be competing in. Click “REGISTER / ADD TO CART”
A form will pop-up for information on the competitor, fill that out and click “REGISTER / ADD TO CART”

Competing in MULTIPLE DIVISIONS:
Add one (1) competitor to your cart at a time — select “Duct Tape ADD-ON” if you are also competing in a Standard division for the chance to make it to the head-to-head battle. Selecting this option lets you compete in the Duct Tape division at a discounted rate. Click “REGISTER / ADD TO CART”
A form will pop-up for information on the competitor, fill that out and click “REGISTER / ADD TO CART”
If you have already registered for the Standard division, then click the cart on the top of the page to check out and complete the registration. You should have 2 items in your cart — one for your Standard division and one for your Duct Tape division.

As the event nears, communications will be sent via email regarding athlete check-in details.

To ensure we can prepare riding orders and post them prior to the event, registration is open until Monday, March 19. Only 40 spots are available — if any remain leading into the event, the registration fee increases to $80 if you register day-of at the event.
